Anyone is welcome to enroll in our programs, but we recommend a certain level of education to ensure that you are prepared for the coursework. Our Integrated Learning Programs are primarily designed for individuals with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or Engineering (any stream). If you have a different degree but have taken mathematics courses at least upto 12th grade level, you may still be eligible for admission with additional preparation. Our Professional Training Program in Data Analytics/Business Analytics/Business Intelligence is open to graduates in any field, but a basic understanding of high school math, analytical skills and computer awareness is recommended. Our Fast Track Course in Data Science and Machine Learning is designed for professionals with prior experience in programming. While we do not restrict admission to anyone, we caution that those without the recommended educational background may find the courses more challenging. However, if you are willing to put in the hard work, we are happy to have you join our program. Ultimately, we are looking for motivated individuals who are willing to work hard to achieve their goals. For more information, please refer to the individual program pages on our website or contact our admissions team
What are the prerequisites for enrolling in the data science program?
We recommend that students have a strong foundation in high school math, including algebra and geometry. Additionally, some programming experience is helpful but not required. The only mandatory requirement is Analytical mindset. Our courses are designed to be accessible to learners from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds and help them build the necessary skills to pursue a career in Data Science
I am from a non-technical background. Can I make my career in Data Science?
Absolutely! A technical background is not a mandatory requirement for pursuing a career in Data Science. we offer a free bridge course specifically for non-programming backgrounds to understand programming and computational thinking concepts that covers mathematical prerequisites and programming fundamentals before the start of our data science courses. This course will provide you with the foundational knowledge necessary to succeed in our programs. With dedication and hard work, anyone can become a successful Data Scientist
Do I need to have a strong background in math to learn Data Science?
Data Science is a multidisciplinary field that involves mathematical, statistical, and computational concepts. At our institute, we believe that data science is an inherently mathematical field, and proficiency in math is essential for success in this field. Math plays a crucial role in understanding and interpreting data, building models, and making predictions. While we understand that some individuals may find math challenging or may not enjoy it and this can be discouraging, we strongly encourage all our students to approach math with an open mind and a willingness to learn and we highly recommend that you have a solid foundation in math. Our program includes a unique pre-requisite mathematical module that provides the necessary foundation for those who are not mathematically gifted. We understand that not everyone may be comfortable with math. If you’re not willing to put in the effort to learn or improve your math skills, then our course may not be the right fit for you. However, if you’re willing to challenge yourself and learn, our experienced instructors will be there to support you every step of the way.
Can I enrol in a single course, or do I have to complete the entire program?
Our Integrated Learning Programs are divided into three levels – Foundations, Intermediate, and Advanced – with a free bridge course covering mathematical pre-requisites and programming fundamentals. After completing each level, students can decide whether to enrol for the next level or not. Our certificate courses and Fast-Track Course are standalone programs
What is the duration of your courses?
The duration of our courses varies depending on the program and format. Weekday batches will have shorter course durations compared to weekend batches due to the difference in the number of sessions per week. However, the total number of hours for each program is fixed and outlined in the curriculum.
Will classes be conducted online or offline?
Our classes will be conducted in a hybrid mode, meaning that students can choose to attend either online or offline, depending on their preference. We understand the importance of flexibility, and we strive to provide our students with the option that works best for them. This allows students to learn at their own pace while also receiving hands-on guidance and support from our experienced instructors.
What types of assignments can I expect to work on?
At GraduDATA, we believe in hands-on learning and real-world applications. Therefore, our curriculum includes a variety of assignments that cover different aspects of data science, machine learning, and analytics. These assignments are designed to give you practical experience in working with real datasets and implementing various techniques and algorithms. Additionally, we conduct assignment discussion sessions periodically to support you throughout the program to ensure that you gain a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and techniques involved.
Do I need to complete all the assignments to receive the course completion certificate?
Yes, the completion of assignments is mandatory to receive the course completion certificate. Assignments are an essential part of the course, designed to help you apply the concepts you learn in a practical setting. They also provide an opportunity to practice and reinforce the skills you have acquired during the course. Additionally, completing assignments will help you better prepare for data science interviews and increase your chances of success in your future data science endeavor’s.
What kind of support do you offer students who are struggling with the course material?
We understand that some students may face challenges in understanding certain concepts or topics and we are committed to providing our students with the support they need to succeed. In such cases, we offer additional support through group doubt-clearing sessions, online forums, email and group chat on a messaging app. Our instructors are also available to address any queries or concerns and provide clarification on course material during class or via email.
